Postdoc position in Molecular Modelling and Computational Chemistry at the MOLCAD research unit, a cooperative organisation of MOLCAD GmbH and Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany).
Open postdoctoral position in the MOLCAD development group at the Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany) in the general area of computational chemistry and molecular modelling. The position is for one year, renewable upon mutual agreement, and is available immediately.
Different research projects are available. Candidates will be screened according to their research track record in theoretical chemistry, physics, computer sciences or related discipline, their background in advanced scientific computing and programming, experience in molecular modelling techniques. The candidate should be capable of independent research and have excellent writing and communication skills. Both computational and analytical skills are needed. Applicants will have the possibility to develop new theoretical methods and implement these methods in computer programs. Experience in C/C++, scripting and visualization (OpenGL) is a plus.
